With Presail, it is easy to refund your investors - whether you're doing a single refund to an investor or doing a bulk refund to a group of investors. If you want bulk-refund to multiple investors simultaneously, check out this article for a full guide.
📤 How To Refund A Single Investor [Basic Guide]
1️⃣ Click on the Deal you want to change the pool in.
2️⃣ Navigate to the Fundraising tab.
3️⃣ Select the investor you want to refund using the checkboxes on the left.
4️⃣ Click the blue Refund button.
5️⃣ Choose the amount to refund, click next and choose the chain and currency.
6️⃣ Click the blue Proceed to payment button. Ensure that you set the spending cap to Default in your wallet.
7️⃣ Click the Pay button, and Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
8️⃣ The refund is now completed. You can view the TX hash at the bottom of the modal.
9️⃣ The investor gets an email notification, and their allocation is updated automatically.

Step 1: Click on the Deal you want to make the refund for.
Step 2: Navigate to the Fundraising tab.
Step 3: Select the investor you want to refund using the checkboxes on the left.
Step 4: Click the blue Refund button.
Step 5: Choose the amount you want to refund and click Next.
Step 6: Choose what chain you want to refund on and the currency you want to refund through. Click Proceed to payment.
Step 7: If all the info is correct proceed to click Pay.
Step 8: Choose the Default custom spending cap option in your wallet, and approve the token amount. Ensure you have the balance of the token you are refunding with in your wallet and enough gas to complete the refund, then click Confirm.
Step 9: The refund is now Completed. You can also track the transaction on the blockchain at the bottom of the modal.
Step 10: Once the refund is complete, the investor that has been refunded will get an Email Notification. Their investor portal will be updated with the correct allocation.
