If you plan to invest through a Ledger, it's essential that you the adjusts the Ledger settings in Metamask and on your Ledger Device.
Metamask settings:
1️⃣ Go to Settings
2️⃣ Click on the Advanced option.
3️⃣ Make sure the Preferred Ledger Connection Type is "WebHID"
Ledger Device settings:
1️⃣ Connect and unlock your Ledger device.
2️⃣ Open the Ethereum (ETH) application.
3️⃣ Press the right button to navigate to Settings. Then press both buttons to validate.
4️⃣ Your Ledger device should display Blind Signing.
5️⃣ Press Both Buttons to enable transaction blind signing.
6️⃣ The device displays Enabled. You're done.
